I want to build a home. Where do I start?

DW Construction has Construction Loan Financing in place. The first draw of your construction loan purchases the lot, permit costs, etc.

I need to sell my home before I build.

If you have to sell before you can build, you typically may have to move twice. However, you may want to check with our Loan Officer to see what options may be available.
If you need assistance with the sale of your home, our Real Estate Professional can offer assistance as well.

Will you build on my own lot?

Yes, we can build on your lot or ours.

Will you build my plan?

Yes, we are a custom home builder and can build any plan.

How long does it take to build a home?

Typically it takes 30 to 45 days to get financing in order for the First Draw to purchase the property. Once the property is purchased, the survey is ordered, and the permits are applied for. In about 3-4 weeks, the foundation is dug and construction begins. Weather permitting, the home could be ready for occupancy in another 16 weeks.

Can I outsource an Electrician, Plumber, etc?

Yes, as long as the trade person is licensed and insured, D W Construction will credit you the cost for the work that was figured in the bid.
This will be paid directly to the Trade Person when the work is completed.

Can we upgrade some of the features in our home?

Yes, you may upgrade as much as you want. We will credit you with the cost we have figured, and you can pay for the upgrade DIRECTLY to the vendor.
This means we NEVER add on any additional fees!
